Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach
Cox’s Bazar is a District under Chittagong Division, which is famous for its longest unbroken sandy sea beach. It is located 150 km (93mi) south of the industrial port- Chittagong. Cox’s Bazar, the most attractive tourist spots for Bangladesh and not only for Bangladesh it’s the longest sea beach in the world . with a total of 121 kilometer (75mi) long. The name Cox’s Bazar was derived from its founder, Captain Cox. He founded the very attractive beach in 1798.Then the Cox’s Bazar beach started only as a small port and health resort.
Cox’s Bazar is called the the tourist capital of Bangladesh. it has been the least crowded among the other beaches. Here, visitors can enjoy the relaxing breeze of the Bay of Bengal Sea and the peacefulness of the place. The Cox’s bazar beach certainly has the finest leisure it can offer to each of its visitors. Laboni beach is the longest and main beach of Cox’s Bazar. It is the closest sea beach to the town. At here a traveler can easily enjoy the scenic beauty of Bay of Bengal Sea. Its a place for enjoyment, many people come here around the year including the foreigners. You can enjoy sunbathe, surfing, jogging, cycling and swimming in this beach. It is best place for swimming and relaxation. Not only in day time, you can enjoy beauty of sea at night from this beach as it is totally safe place for tourist. Inani Beach (also Enani Beach) is a sea beach in Ukhia Upazila of Cox’s Bazar District, about 18 kilometers long. It has a nice view and has lots of coral stones. These coral stones take on a green shade during the summer & in the rainy season.
It is a very beautiful beach known for its rock and coral boulders. The Hills can be seen from one side and sea on the other which makes it really impressive. The view of sunrise and sunset of this beach are very memorable. The blue water and the lines of stones is the main source of attraction for the tourists. The clean blue & shark free water is ideal for bathing and swimming without any fear.
The water stored in between stones contain small sea-fish, crabs, snail, and many more. These will keep you busy for all day long. Most tourists choose this place for its silent nature and eccentric environment. Inani beach is famous for its crystal clear water at the beach. Finally, don’t forget to enjoy the sunset at the beach. Try to stay until the sun goes down.
Kolatoli Beach is one of the most attractive beach for the tourist in Cox’s Bazar. Every year people of different ages come here to have the feelings of taking sea-bath. Visitors can bath in the sea, driving sea ski boat; can have various kind of sea foods. Walking beside the sea shore on moonlit night is always pleasant for tourist of any age. A slow paced life – most work happens in the morning and evening, whereas midday is reserved for drying rice and fish. During the day time, some villagers sells coconuts while others sitting in the shade and chewing paan (battle leaf).
St. Martin’s Island
If you are done partying in Cox’s Bazar, St. Martin’s Island is the right place to calm down your soul. This coral island is about 10km (6mi) south-west of the southern tip of the mainland is a tropical cliché, with beaches fringed with coconut palms and bountiful marine life. And the water is clearer than crystal. During any moonlight in St. Island you may end up deciding to stay in this island forever.
